Our miniseries “Between two worlds” will celebrate its TV premiere on December 1st, 2021 at 8.15 pm on the German TV channel “Das Erste”! Next week on Wednesday, the first two parts of the multi-part series will already be available in the “ARD Mediathek”.

On December 1st the first two parts “Welcome to Kaltenstein” and “A Sense of Freedom” will be broadcasted. On Saturday, December 4th, part 3 “Shoulder to Shoulder” and part 4 “Forget the Yanks” will follow. Finally, on 08.12., Das Erste will show the last two parts of the miniseries “Friends and Foes” and “No Place to Live.”

What it’s about:

Rhineland-Palatinate, early 1950s: There’s a fresh wind from the west blowing through the small town of Kaltenstein.
The presence of the Americans turns the lives of two friends upside down and paves the way for individual freedom, the permissive society and rampant capitalism. In this new world, the two young women strive to create lives for themselves, repeatedly coming into conflict with the old order of conservative forces of politics, the Church and society – and finally finding new allies…
